Is there any restrictions as to where you must begin roleplaying from? It's honestly not that clear.

Only the obvious places, such as you can't make your character already be living in Haven or CaPa unless you have permission. And of course, not in a place that's owned by Outsiders at the moment (I think that includes the school and the church). As long as you do an intro post for your character, they can start pretty much wherever you feel like  |

And one more thing...
My first attempt at roleplay using Daniel Knight wasn't allowed, how come?
(It'd be okay if it were my site, but it's not so I don't know your exact specs of introducing a character)

In your first post you have to put a pretty detailed description (it's your chars first foray into the game world)
Secondly you have to post a link to the char/s being used in your post at the top, take a look at some other post for an example. The code is somewhere on the forum or you can quote an existing post and change the info as required.
